air bag light, and weird plug

so i had the blinking air bag light, so i search and it seems most often it's loose connections under the seat. so i check under my seats and double check all my connections, only there's an extra plug coming up from the carpet under the drivers seat. i did the reset on the air bag light, and it's gone now. but now i'm wondering what this extra plug is for, any help would be appreciated. i don't see anywhere it could plug into the seat, and i don't think it would because it doesn't have the extra slack the others do, and i can't feel any other plugs hidden under the carpet

That plug is for the rear o2 that the 99's didn't have.

not tryin to thread jack, but I also have the blinking airbag light. I was told by previous owner the passenger side airbag needed to be replaced. Should I just check the connections under the seat? I have a 99 se, heated seats, power.
