key fob problem yes i did search

key fob problem yes i did search

I have tried everything i can find out to try to get this key fob to work, took keyfob to dealer today and they tested it and it was good, i follow all steps but when ihit lock button on remote no flashing lights? can anyone shine some light my way? thanks

I read that thread but nothing worked, my lights flash after inseatring key but when i kit lock on the remote i get nothing and the remote never work even finishing out the procedure.

followed to a t and i thought the same at the dealer. but they didn't charge to test it.

are you sure your Keyfob you are trying to use is for a 95-99 maxima?

yes its the same as the one for my other 97 maxima, i even tried to use that remote but it does the same thing.

could be a bad system - have you checked the computer to make sure all the wires are plugged in / and in well? IIRC, it's in the trunk, pass side. I've knowen people to unpulg the unit to try and bypass a system for some reason and not hook it back up. Worth checking anyway.
