I can't post a pic here, pm me your email address and I'm email you a pic. As for the adapter, the adapters are vehicle make specific, if I remember correctly, you just plug in the adapter to the stock harness and connect the right colors to the wires on the HU. I did get an alternator buzz so I put a power filter on and that helped. Then I replaced the front spakers, but the rear deck is still bose. I would recommend just replacing the stock speakers too.

Now on my 5th gen I replaced the bose with an alpine double din, I found the adapter at walmart believe it or not. All of the wires are colored the same as the wiring harness in the vehicle, just like the harness adapter from the 4th gen. I connected the walmart adapter to the stock adapter and connected all of the wires and that's it. Then I put a switch on so I could play dvd's while driving. I also replaced all of the speakers and pulled the bose sub. Now I'm going to get a sub.

Replace it. Choose which features you get to have on your own HU. Be it MP3, CD-R, CD-RW, iPod hook up, XM radio, etc

If your Bose on an outdated system has died then I think it's time to fancy things up
