hey guys sorry if this has been posted before but need to know asap just today my cel light came on as soon as i got home i plugged the code reader but it shows no codes neither can turn cel light off, car is running alright no misfire nothing out of usual any ideas

 

have you used that scanner before on your car? maybe it isn't compatible...?

I would try and see if auto zone can pull any codes.

How's your battery and charging system? Electrical issues have been known to do this before.

Just to make sure, pull the codes manually.

 

well did this and came out 5 long 5 short blinks thats no problem detected weird but at least i was able to reset the cel light i hate driving around with that thing on, i think its time to buy another car most probably going to sell this one and buy me a newer max or infiniti
