dull lights how can i shine them up?

dull lights how can i shine them up?

i just picked up a pair of tinted tail lights in a junk yard but there a little dull is there any pruduct that i can use to shine them up a bit? my friend told me to throw on a clear coat paint on it but im not sure if that would work any opinions ??

Any mildly abrasive polish will work. They have special headlight polishes but really any polish does the same thing.

I think your friends idea is terrible.

Well it depends on what you mean by "dull", your friend might have the right idea. VHT nite shades leaves a dull, matte-like finish. If that is what you mean, then clean it thoroughly and put a few clear coats on it. If you mean a worn-out dull, then do as suggested in the previous post.

Brasso or Mother's aluminum polish...

Restore them just like you would your headlights.

i think im gonna throw on a couple clear coats on there i got them for dirt cheap anyway im talking about 10 dollars and i think its night shade on it if it dosent look right ill jus leave the oem ones on there
