maxima code problems

Hey guys lets begin with how i got my car, i picked up an 98 i30t for 2k (still running, but had check engine light) because some animals had gotten into the engine bay and stared chewing on wires. So today i spent the whole day finding a new harness and then installing it and now i am left with 2 codes
my car keep throwing codes p0325, and p1105. I tried solving p1105 by buying a brand new map/baro sensor from autozone and the code will still come back after a short drive. i have no other idea were to check. the code p0325 which is my knock sensor i assume comes on right after i clear the codes. i can clear the codes start the car, shut it right back off and im stuck with code p0325. does that mean the knock sensor is broken or the connection is just gone?

i need to figure these things out asap, thanks guys

edit: i found out some guys are suggesting replacing the harness. so how much of the harness does the replafcement actually replace. does anyone have pictures of this subharness that is on sale at courtesy parts?

For P1105, check continuity on the harness. Did the engine harness come from the same year and emissions spec car?

For P0325, it could very well be that either the KS is completely dead, or there's an open or short in the main engine harness, or more likely the KS subharness.

Did you use a '99 ECU as well? I believe the engine control wiring changed enough to keep one from using a '99 harness without ECU, or the opposite.

The '99 has a few different things, especially with emissions. I imagine you had a few unused connectors on the harness after installation?

maybe it wasn't a 99, i think that was it.. lol i saw so many maximas today i cant remmeber. it may have been 98, cause i ended up with no left over connectors, i had the harnesses side by side and started form the ecu side all the way to the end of each one matching the plugs and it was perfect.

btw is there any way i can test the baro sensor at the plug? i took the vaccum off it and put a boost gauge on it to read vaccum and it was pulling a healthy 20~22. as for the wiring i put a multimeter to the red and black wires and i was getting a constant 5.11v. i got nothing when i tried the black and white wire. (i saw a suggestion to test this in my google search)

^lol i'm going to order that harness for the ks now and a new ks. does it matter which one? i was just gonna pick up a new one off ebay.

i also might take my old harness and repair all the wires and try that if this doesnt work. its alot of work, but its very doable
