Trunk wont open!! help!!

Trunk wont open!! help!!

i tried looking for the valet switch, but i cant find it!... my trunk wont open unless i pull it hard when i hold the trunk release on my alarm, can someone take a picture of where the valet switch is? the pictures in the FAQ are too dark.. thanks.

I've done this in the past too. Look where the trunk latches down. There should be a switch that goes up and down. Make sure it's in the open position (i dont know if it's up or down) then try to press the trunk release button on your door and then try it with your remote.

Maybe it snagged onto something and partially went down and locked it.

But it's where the truck latch is..I think that's what you're talking about.

Our cars don't have a 'valet switch' stock.

go through rear seat or remove it unlock it from inside and spray wd40 on lock
and into key cylinder
