Stitches from trunk lid?

I've bumped my head from the latch on the trunk lid many times, but yesterday I really did a number on it and it took 4 stitches to close the gash on my head!

Anyone else had this?

I hit my head multiple times on that latch, but no stitches yet.
I also had the front hood lack hit my head due to the old hood struts, and I only got a bruise from it.

SO, only you so far.

I've hit my head on my 5th gen's trunk because it fell down a little while I was getting stuff out, but nothing that needed stitches, that just sucks.

The day i bought my max i was cleaning out my infinity G20 and looked up just in time to take the trunk lid in the face. It took 13 stitches in my right eyebrow to close things up. I was so pissed.

I have never had any problems with my trunk lid coming down on its own but i have a 5th gen. Is the 4th gen trunk a strut system or torsion bar system like the 5th?

I watched my ol'man nail his head on my trunk lid this weekend. Didn't even shake off the inch long ashes drooping off the cigarette in his mouth. . . If it wasn't beer he was lifting out of there, he might have even been mad.

LOL beer.

Anyway, I've hit my head on it, no stitches yet though.

One thing I do a lot though is slam my head on the side of the roof getting into the drivers seat. Started happening when I lowered the car. I used to just barely brush it when getting in enthusiasically, now I just slam my head on it right above my ear.

One time I saw stars. lol
