ks? tps? or tranny? or ???? issue

wat's up,

car: 98 auto max gxe

problem: radiator blew and replaced it but coolant went all over the engine...tried to clean all of it up

1-2 months ago i got codes P0325 (ks), P0731 (1st gear shift problem), and P0744(TCC). During this time, my car wouldn't go in reverse,1st gear, and possibly 3rd gear and while driving, the rpm's would jump and felt it wouldn't get in gear....I let the car sit for 2-3 weeks and then some how i got reverse, 1,2,3,4 to work...while driving, the rpm's would jump and felt like it was slipping....

i went to my friend's dad to read the codes again and got P0325(ks), P0732(2nd gear shift problem), and P0744(TCC)...he reset the codes and P0325 kept on coming back even though he erased all the codes...i still have reverse...while in D...going from 1st to 2nd is smooth but then the rpm's jump to 4 and then it gets stuck...if i gas it on/off it will jump into 3rd and then it hesistates and then goes into 4th while the rpms are at 4-5

question: i was wondering if the KS could mess with how the auto tranny shifts??? and if this could be a TPS issue???

also can someone explain the P0744(TCC) code..i've looked but still don't understand what it effects and why it's messed up

could it also be a maf problem???

thank you

No, it's not a knock sensor issue.

What about P0744? It's explained rather well, IMO. If the TCC doesn't lock up, or the trans won't shift into 4th, the TCM sets P0744. Virtually verbatim from the FSM.

A faulty or incorrectly adjusted TPS could cause some auto problems, yes. Have you checked it at all yet?
