Adding additional fog lights?
I was thinking about adding some small fog lights kind of inside my bumper mounted somewhere. Maybe some rectangular ones.
Has anyone done this? I'm not sure how you would wire something like this or if it is possible.
Thanks!

I've seen aftermarket fogs mounted in either the stock fog cutouts, or in the lower air dam, to either side of the license plate. It can look kinda cheesy though. I want to see someone do a full offroad light setup on the max... like quad 6" driving lamps. that would be sick.

possible and easy - they come with instructions.

OP: most (all?) states prohibit having more than 4 lamps on at the same time + fogs you'd get at walmart, ebay etc are not street legal - even though dot approved - and they specify on the box "for off-road/show use only".

What after-market fogs are legal to use in every day city driving?

why do you want fog lights anyways?
don't get me wrong - the fact that walmart fogs are not street legal never stopped me from using them - i was just giving legal advice so it's not news if you were to get pulled over for them.

check out ebay - a bunch of halos (both reflector and projector) and cheap. i don't think that a round fog is gonna look good with the rest of the lights having sharp angles.

I was thinking more for show anyways. Not for constant use. Just some dim ones kind of.
I have the oem fogs already. I just want to know if they could be wired to switch on/off somehow. Because like it's been mentioned, they wont be legal.

aftermarket - most come with wiring harnesses with separate on/off switch. you could make a clear lense for the stock fogs and retro hid fog projectors

I was thinking of putting my PIAA 959's on for the winter, in the OEM holes and taking off the old ones and the brackets the winters here are brutal and visibility is next to none and not to mention the reindeer w/o Santa.. When summer time comes back on i'll put on the OEM's again. So i won't be running 4 lights at a time. When i get the 959's on i'll post pics. You can see the OEM on now, profile.
