I'm only interested in dealing locally, but thanks for the offer. I have a full 40 days off from college for Christmas break so I'll have plenty of time to shop around!

See the link in my sig. It's only got 72k, so it would last you way through what you need.

72k???? wow....i thought i had low miles. at 108k for 1995 SE.

i figured out why i have such low miles. its casue my car just stands there most of the time, waiting to be fixed

Update:

Tomorrow I'm going to look at a 1996 Maxima SE 5-speed with leather, auto climate control, Bose (working), sunroof, pretty much everything! It's dark forest green with tan leather. From the pictures its in beautiful shape, notably the steering wheel leather isn't worn out. It has 140k miles and is a one-owner, non-smoking car. They are asking $2995. If it drives great and looks great I might as well strike while the iron is hot :-)

I'll report back with my findings tomorrow.

yea that sounds like a great deal

make sure to check all the exposed frame areas for bending/marks

and however unreliable a carfax report is, do it anyway

Here is the link:

http://www.markwmotors.com/Cars/car_...7_20_index.php

It's the oldest car on the lot so that may say something about its condition.

the reason is that the 97-99's have an upgraded frame for safety and they also have optional side airbags along with other various options.

just watch out for scammers on the actual milleage and get a car fax because my brother bought a 95 maxima with 33,000 miles on the cluster but the car runs like if they ran the **** out of it. well my bro bought it cuz low miles eventhough it didn't run good and i think that the seller just change the cluster, found one in the junk yard with low miles and put in. but good luck in finding a your car.

Here she is! It was truly in remarkable shape. It really drove like a new car - the engine was turbine-smooth and surprisingly torquey.
