hello everyone i have a 96 black maxima with the 04 bars dipped in chrome just the basic package cloth interior no sunroof just plain ole nice n fun
its got 4 10" evs in rear dash all new parts on the front end struts axle sway bar etc... my question is
u see down here in New England these maximas are stolen atleast 4 a day gets stolen i would have to say and wen i drive around i find them all chopped and abandonded but everyone wants to steal my maxima because of my rims and music system.
i have an after market alarm but idk if its to safe to trust like im sure they can still steal it but idk i wouldnt trust it and i box it in my driveway with my parents or siblings car/s and last but not least my car is my baby so i treat it like it is my baby with a baby monitor on inside of it so i can hear anything going on around it (it does work trust me read more)

theres been around 4-6 atempts for people to steal my rims music or just the whole car alone and 4 times the baby monitor worked but i asked one of my brothers freinds he said that they pop off the rear trunk lock and get in through there drivers door by making a key from the trunk lock in a matter of 5-7 minutes. what should i do heres pics

 

i would also like to know were i can get some nice blacked out turn signal lights and blacked out headlights

 

remove all external key slots and have everything on remote.

 

for lights go to ebay - cheap.
for rims and stereo...full coverage insurance, if they want to steal it they will no matter what you do.
when i was young it was popular/easy to throw the whole car on a tow truck so no alarm, immobiliser etc can help.

 

Why not make your alarm more sensitive? A lot of aftermarket alarms have that capability. Add on a tilt sensor or motion sensor. And why not tie in a backup battery to the alarm. Wire in some train horns w/the aftermarket alarm. The possibilities are endless.

 

the air horns will scare them out...

and lights. there are some in the classified.

 

well like stated above if they have a tow truck theres no way around it. but for everyone else you could get a steering wheel with a qiuck release so you can take it with you. you could shave all the keyholes & repaint and use keyless entry. get real good locks for the wheels. get a fuel cut off(although I think they may be illegal). get a cheap surveliance camera and point it at the car so if someone gets it youll know who it was. you could keep a car cover on the car at all times (obviously not when driving) which would atleast make it a slower process to steal.
and Im sure there are other things I cant think of but if someone wants it bad enough theyll probably get it.
