Maxima wont start after HID install.. Help!

Hey guys, so i've run into some serious trouble and im hoping someone here can help me.
I installed a plug and play hid kit in my stock headlights and it went well save for the ballast dieing 3 months later.
Today i got a deal on a new kit and a used ballast for 120. the kit was for my fog lights. I installed the new ballast and got both my headlights back up running fine.

When i got home i installed the hid fogs, this required me to cut the connectors on my old fog light harnesses. my first problem was that the bolts snapped, but that i will fix later.
The fog lights turned on fine (i have the fog light rewire mod also) but now my car wont start. I reversed all the wiring back to oem and still i get this ticking sound when i try to start it, the airbag light flickers and everything dims when i try to start the car.

any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

Check everything over again, looks like you have a short somewhere. Check for blown fuses.

let me guess, your headlights work. And you left them on to "test" them out. You my friend, have a dead battery. Nothing more. Yes, your headlights and radio can still work but the battery will not have enough power to start the car. Starting the car requires quite a bit of Battery power. I almost can safely bet $5 that its a dead battery considering the only thing you did touch was the headlights.

have you tried jumping your car? sounds like something is draining your battery while it sits.

boosting it as in jumper cables?? Or did you use a battery booster. The self jumping ones that you re-charge. If you are using cables with another car, Have the other car pull the e-brake, as well as step on the brake itself. And then rev the engine to aroudn 2.5-3k for about 30 sec to a min.

the clicking is coming from when he is trying to start the car. The starter wants to turn but is not.

Here's a good test...take 2 wires, attach them to the leads on the battery. Tap the other ends against your tongue....do you feel any tingling?

....Seriously...don't do that. You'd be an idiot that would make Darwin smile. You're battery is probably dead. Are you 5-speed or auto? If 5-speed, you could try the "push the car and pop the clutch" move to see if the car fires...

I dunno if I would feel bad. I mean if anyone had a shread of common sense, they would know better than to do that. Else that would be a clear demonstration of "Assisted" Natural selection.
