Need recommendations for winter floor mats
I need to get a set of winter floor mats for my 95 maxima se. I googled the forum (site:maxima.org inurl:4th "floor mats" winter) but didn't find any specific info. I saw a really heavy black rubber set in another maxima, but don't know the brand or where to get them. I've looked at the ones on ebay, seems like they wouldn't fit too well. Any recommendations for what fits our cars well and is high quality (not the flimsy generic ones). Thanks a bunch!

The WeatherTech Extreme are probably the best quality you can get... but they cost a bit.
The regular WeatherTech are very good and the price is around what OEM mats would cost you.
Then, I'd choose the Hexomats. I had a set of these in my Lightning and they were very nice for being a rubber mat. Again, these'll cost around what OEM mats cost.

wal-mart~
in the summer~~$20.00
in the winter~~$25.00
they are so cheap if they get muddy, throw them away and get some new ones in the summer, wash the rubber ones at the car wash.

OEM for me
Yeah, I got a set of the 2000-20003 OEM maxima mats also. They say "Maxima" on them which is a nice touch. The front mats fit extremely well in my '95. I couldn't get the hook through the hole of the drivers mat, but they have rubber spikes on bottom to keep them from moving. The rear taper too much where they go under the front seats, look slightly funny, but will work okay. I almost never sit in the back of my car, so I'll rarely have to look at them ;-) $55 at my Nissan dealer.
