yeah i'd probably do it myself but just the hassle of it all, and creating another potential leak

I have a potential deal on used Hotshots, but if that falls though I will get the OBX. Im sure some one else will pick these up before then, however. Id like to be the guinea pig, just not during the winter months.

I wish i knew measurements and fitment issues, Unlike most guys here some stuff i pay for install and guess what the longer it takes the more I pay hence therefore the obvious choice wold be cattman. I will have headers by spring of this year. Thats a guarantee. OBX or cattman!

I cant imagine OBX going through that much R&D just to go back to the older version. This is at least version 4 from OBX, and they are as equal length as they get. The Ebay listings are showing pictures of the past designs and not these. Im going to email OBX soon to confirm.

I sent them a lengthy email. I have a feeling the answer wont be as specific as Im hoping.

Their web site lists 3 headers, 95-99, 00-01, and 02-03. Too bad the pix show a version not for us and the other pic is a prototype of the 2nd version (the one with the 'T' collector. Im pretty sure that one has been discontinued for years.

Who knows were they are from. I bet all their stuff is from overseas either way. Their slogan is "**** IS GOOD!" Riiiiiiiiiiiiight.....

is there any performance gains with these than the regular headers? the reason i'm asking is because that 180 degree turn would affect performance and or exhaust flow?...

Uh oh they're back. Now we see if I can get my rear header off without having to pull the motor.

I guess I'll have to not ever worry about a good sounding exhaust with my warpspeed header. This is my favorite sounding maxima and I'm guessing that even with an S/C and a Greddy SP2 catback, it still wouldn't sound close. There is no way I'm messing with that rear header.

A video of maxima92se's car. Sounds insane.
