you have money?

your best bet is to talk to a stereo/alarm install place and see what it takes to wire up the headlights to an ignition wire.. that's all i know tho..

Doesn't your car go beep beep beep when you leave the lights on after you turn off the engine and open the drivers door?? It's the same sound as leaving the key in the ignition.

It probably does, but that sound is so low that its easy to overlook. I know I have.

I habitually (read **** retentively) run my figers across the headlamp **** the turn signal stalk everytime I exit the car...just to make sure I don't leave the headlights on. I do this even in the daytime.

When you walk into my college, on the door they have a sign that says:
"Have you turned off your headlights"

Buy those stickers and place them everywhere you go. This might help you remeber!

there is something called a battery buddy, it connects to the battery and will leave you enough power in the battery to start the car even if you leave the lioghts on.

www.batterybuddy.com

scroll down to the bottom of the page.

I agree when it comes to rigging up electrical stuff like this some of those guys are crazy and can pull off anything.

Same here. I run a check-list through my head everytime I get out of the car. Chalk it up to having my having my battery die on me several times already due to having my headlights on.

Nothing like learning the hard way!

Thats onew thing with my 5 speed. At least if I do leave it on there is always the option of push starting it if I am near a hill or something.

Die-hard makes a battery that saves enough juice in the battery to let the car start up...It also has a Key Fob like your doors that is used to lock out the battery so nobody can start the car...also if its messed with after three turnes of the key you cant start the car until you "unlock the battery" I was gonna get it for my jeep but never did
