The problem wasn't the join date, it was obviously the post count. As you can see even though he joined here a while ago, he didn't keep up with the site.

True but I was replying to the post about him being a newly registered member to defend his vehicle.
FWIW, post count doesnt mean jack. There ar tons of members who have only been here for a very short time and have tons of posts and still dont know jack.
Ive even seen some members who have been here for about a year or so and have way more posts then i and ive been here for a little while now.

True I just figured if he had more posts then he was probably frequently on here. You can see he wasn't cause a few of those posts came from this thread. And obviously you can see he didn't keep up with the site cause look at his car. Riced out and he think he has close to 300hp.

looks like unpainted fiberglass...

If he got rig or the tails and paint the kit white and the gril black, it would be decent

I don't believe its fiberglass but polyurathane/plastic.

I don't think it's bad looking at all for a car, it just needs a little more work done to the body, paint wise and a few mechanical touch ups. His car is far from ugly. Like he said, it's a work in progress or at least it was. I mean seriously, most of these are "project" cars that don't take days, weeks, months, and even sometimes years to finish. Sure he has a lot of flaws. I mean how cheap are paint jobs, especially if you want it done right? It's what the kid likes and some people like that.

^^ I've never made any complaints about the car being ugly, just saying it has the rice flavor. Some guys like the beautiful women, others find the fuglies attractive. Who am I to argue with a person's personal taste?

My main concern is the "300 HP" JDM MOTOR SWAP that looks remarkably like the stock VQ30DE...

The first Z to use a VQ is the 350Z, with the VQ35DE, 84-89 300ZXs were VG30E or VG30ET, or in Japan (and other parts of the world) VG20E, VG20ET, VG20DE, RB20DET, and VG30DE. 90-96 (or 99) 300ZXs were available with a VG30DE or a VG30DETT.
If you look at my post I had stated that a VQ30DET is a turbocharged VQ30DE... which is what 4th genner's like to call it... which is why I ended it with... Yeah... It is possible.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not confused with what motors came in what car or the fact that the 300ZX's came with a VG30 motor so I don't need a clarification on it. All I said was a couple of guys had already done the 300ZX motor swap into a Maxima... I did not claim it to be a VQ30DE (Although I can see how that can be insinuated since I did not make it clear)... Assuming that most peeps already knew it was a VG30 Motor. Me for unclear communications.

ahh, sorry then. The way I read it, it looked like you were saying the 300ZX had a VQ30DET :-P

Thats more rice than uncle ben can handle and come on 14.8 and 300 hp my 07 maxima with a cvt ran 14.6 stock and its heavier and only has 255 hp. but at least if you pour some more rice into his gas tank you will get 300 hp and run a 14.8

Sorry guys but I have to defend this guy on the cosmetic department cause my car looked like that before I got it painted minus the tailight. He has TYC and I have the LED version from ProCarparts. He does have decent wheels compared to my stock steelies...

Now only if he can stop making ridiculous horsepower claims; he should be okay.

COMPARE HIS CAR

MY CAR BEFORE PAINTING

AND AFTER PAINTING
