Cutting the Bump stops?

I just bought Sprint Springs for my car. I'm getting ready to order the AGX. I was told that I will need to cut my bump stops? Is this true? If so, if I were to sell my car and put it back to stock height, would I need new bump stops?

Thanks!

just cut them in half. you can still put it back to stock with the cut bump stops and there wont be any problems. All bump stops do is to protect from bottoming out by acting as a "cushion".
its good to cut them when you lower the car so it gives the strut more travel before it hits the bump stop. Im lowered 1.6 inches and I only cut 1 section off the bump stop on the fronts and that only gives me about 1.5 inches of travel before it bottoms out but seems to work fine.
