Fog lights wiring question

Here is the deal. I have 98 GXE and I have done couple things to it, but now I want some fogs. I know that the car has the wiring, I also bought the fog light key or whatever is called and I am looking for some fogs. But someone told me that I can not put fog lights on GXE. Any ideas on how I can do maybe a rewiring?

My car is 98 GXE with the Security and Convenience package. Fog light wiring and connectors are already prewired. If you get the fog light kit from Nissan, everything is plug and play.

I have tried and did not work. Do you have fog lights? are they from Nissan or aftermarket?

You tried installing the whole package and it didn't work? Your first post says you haven't even bought the fogs yet.

I haven't bought fogs yet. But I borrowed some aftermarket just to try if they will work and they did not!

So did you not have power at the connectors, what? Did you install the relay and the fog light equipped stalk?

there is no power at the connectors. I installed the stalk myself. I got it from 99 SE, but have not played with the relay yet.

So you have no relay installed? That will be a good cause for no power at the connectors. Did you install the fuse for the fogs?

And why do you call your car a 'GSE'?

Well, obviously you won't get power without the relay installed...

And that just makes it a modded GXE.

I agree with that. And I will do it, but first I will take couple pictures to help explaining what I did. I do not know why people say that you can not put fogs on GXE because that is not true

Here is how I fixed my problem:
I went to a junk yard and they had 99 SE. I got the fog light stalk from it and a blue relay with 4 pins. It is the same as the fog light one. I switched out the stalk and put the relay in the relay box by the coolant tank. After that I got some aftermarket fog lights and installed them. Now everything works perfect.
