I want to hear experiences from actual Intrax owners, the people who drive wit theses things day in, day out. I've heard others opinions, but i want to hear from actual owners. Do you have severe bottoming out problems? Problems with driveways? How is the ride? Any other opinions thoughts? What shock/struts are you using? Other suspension mods? My initial draw to these springs were they were the lowest spring at the time(6 months ago) and they were softer than Eibachs. I don't want to be flamed for this post, i just want opinions of real owners. thanks.

Intrax springs

I've had mine for two years now and I have bottomed out on occassion. The roads where I live are always under construction but I don't mind the harshness of the ride. You definitely sacrifice ride quality for the 1.75". As far as driveways go, I have to look out for them because of a Stillen kit along with the drop. But overall If I had to do it again I would!

I haven't had any problems with them>>>

I have never really bottomed out, but then again i'm pretty careful how a drive. I didn't even cut my bump stops either. I had the Eibachs on my car, not too much of a difference IMHO. If fact, my Eibachs are still sitting in my garage collecting dust.

I have Intrax

I had it on my car for almost 1year and half without any probs. I also have KYB struts. The ride isn't all that bad, I've ridden in Max with H&R's and I couldn't tell the difference. Eibachs in my opinion were harsher, they were pretty stiff. I don't have any probs clearing curbs, but if you have a body kit then you might have to be careful. I got Intrax for looks and it looks sweet compared to H&Rs(1.25 drop).

I got Intrax too. The ride is a bit harsh, but you have to give up something for the 1.75" drop. I do advise you to get some kind of struts other than factory if you get Intrax. I'm planning to get some Koni struts later on. Yes, you have to drive your car carefully, which I haven't. I should have because of the roads here in New Orleans are horrible. Oh well, time to upgrade my struts anyway.

INTRAX SPRINGS

i've had them on for about a year and a half a love them. the ride is still comfortable but the stock struts blow. i'm replacing the stock struts with koni's in a week or two. i've used eibachs on other cars in the past and didn't like them. they are in general stiffer than the softer intrax springs.

i used to have intrax and they rode alright on stock shocks. the only thing i didn't like about them was how the rear end sags. i bottomed out on some high speed bumps, but that was it.

I'm running Intrax right now ->

It's been about a year and half. I'm still on the stock struts with 40K miles on them. Never really bottom out, but my stock struts are really worn now. Clearance is going to be a problem with Intrax if you have Stillen front lip. You really need to watch out for those steep driveways and entrance into 7-11. I have the GC and Konis sitting in my house. I'm really thinking about not using the GC since I can't imagine driving anything lower than Intrax.

Easily fixed

We haven't mentioned that the rear Konis have a two position perch... i have mine on the upper one so the back looks more even with the front. Another perk!

My experience with Intrax on a camry was that the rear wasn't that stiff, and was HIGHER then the front. Does this hold true with the maxima as well? I'm just going to save enough money to get the cattman coilovers. The adjustability really gets me.

I've had the Intrax for 1.5 years now and they've been fine. I don't scrape the front lip spoiler that much, I've had more problems with scraping he resonator since I drive into so many parking decks. I'm going to GC's now since i want it even lower for shows. So if anyone wants a set of Intrax, $100 + shipping.

2 years, 50k+ miles and moving fine

I drive like a madman through pothole city. rear shocks are borderline gone (thankfully i am installing new shocks). I only scrape going up parking garages with people and my sub in the rear. no real damage to the underbody except the resonator is lightly scraped. Handling is very competent and i have used them to race. some compromise but i would recommend em...DO NOT CUT THEM though. i have heard once upon a time they had problems with compression failing...but i dont see a problem with mine. with new shocks i should be fine. qc is better than before.

Re: I have Intrax

I have them with stock struts, definitely going to Koni and H&R or Eibach. Intrax suck, very harsh ride.

Don't be ignorant

You have an aftermarket springs with STOCK struts, that's why the ride is harsh. Its not the springs, its the springs. You can make the car ride good if not better by putting in some decent shocks. I'm speaking from experience so no flaming. Put in Eibach right now with stock struts, you'll be bouncing up and down so much you'll miss the Intrax. I have been in cars with tok+Eibach, Tok+H&R, Stock+Eibach, stock+Intrax, KYB+Intrax, Cattman Coilovers. In my opinion, the ride quality really comes down to the shocks not the springs.
