Engine support for RMS replacement

As the title asks, where do I support the engine while I'm replacing the RMS? I'm in the process of rebuilding the transmission, so only one motor mount is in the car, and I have no engine hoist. Luckily there is a rafter right over the engine bay in my barn, so I'm thinking a chain down from that, but where is safe to put the chain on the engine for this?

Thanks

You can run it underneath the LIM, or bolt it up to the block with a bellhousing bolt, pretty much anywhere you feel safe.

If there's only one motor mount in the car as you say, you'd already have to have it supported somewhere.

right. as of now, I've got jack stands & 2x4's on the oil pans. That should be ok I guess. For whatever reason I was only thinking about the upper which I'm not comfortable with…

Ah. Well you do know you have to remove both oil pans for RMS replacement, right?
