Minimal differences unless it was completely clogged.

Yep, unless it was really clogged, do not expact anything crazy. You might "feel" a little something but dont get your hopes up.

The biggest difference will be smoother acceleration.

Maybe some better gas mileage too, but nothing spectacular!

well, the way to check was, BEFORE you threw it away or whatever, after you take it out, to put your fingers on both open ends, shake, and then see the color of what comes out. If it's really gross looking, then the filter needed to be changed, and you will probably feel a small difference in accelleration. If you really want a difference, get an injector cleaning service lol.

I replaced mine after 30K miles. The difference I noticed was that my car was 'zingier' The difference between a clean and dirty fuel filter will be more noticeable the faster you go. In fact, the 1st time I changed ine was because my top speed was ridiculously low, like 125 mph. Once changed, 140+ Mine must have been real clogged.

i changed mine a week ago. Car definately accelerates smoother. I think my fuel economy went up a good 1-2 mpg. It can't be bad for ya and it's under 20$! So relax!

When I replaced mine after 30K, I noticed a bit of difference and every bit counts.......I saved my old filter until it dried and compared the flow of air (by blowing through it) to the new one. There was a significant difference in air flow!

The easiest way to find the answer to your question is to simply take it for a spin. Easy =)
