Don't flush, just drain and fill. If you drop the pan, clean the screen. Problem solved.

You say you 'tried' searching. Did it not work, or did you just give up on reading all of the posts you found? All the information you'd ever want to know is available through search, if you actually care to read it.

Says in your owner's manual.

You could just use any old ATF, or you could bother to use Matic-D.

Nissan Matic-D is the OEM brand of automatic transmission fluid, available from a Nissan dealership. At least I assume it's available.

My local Nissan parts counter guy laughed at me when I asked for Matic-D. He told me it was just Dexron IIe/III, and to go to a parts store. I wound up buying Castrol Multi-vehicle Import. Said on the label it was equivalent to Matic-D. I couldn't find any ATF that said "Dexron III" on the label.

If you're going to go through all that work, you might as well spend the money and go with Amsoil ATF. Do a search for that and you will be reading for awhile.
