i have those same lights on my black maxima as well they are really nice. I love having a different style tail light compared to the regular red/clears, i think the clear/reds look better anyway.
Sick cake btw!!!

It ended up being a marble cake. There was a vanilla frosting layer between the cake and the outer shell. The outter shell was a really rich chocolate that actually was pretty hard to eat. Oh and I started by eating the trunk first. It was hard make that first cut into it ruining the master piece.

haha surprised to see my pics on this thread~
yes i think you will enjoy them. they look good only on black/white maxes to me. and i never liked the fact you cant match the inner w the david Ls.
heres advice for you when install. rip off the cheap *** rubber thing around the light that is meant to fill the gap. they dont fit well nor do they do a good job of keeping water out of your trunk. what i did was went to autozone. got some black silicone. i believe it was for engine sealent or something. fill it in the gaps, smoothed it using finger and cleaned it off the light and car... you get that nice smooth look. u dont want the silicone to look bulky or anything. make sure its a nice non-wet day because it needs a couple hours to dry. (i say overnight). its pretty easy and you can take your time because it takes forever to dry
oh yea also. the red light comes out a little pinkish. so use red 1156 & 1157 bulbs instead of the clear ones. and on the signal light dont use a normal amber bulb. you get that fried egg look. either get a chrome amber light (mirror bulb) or get led bulb so you only see the amber (or red) when the signal is on

What, are they that easy to come by now? I probably don't want to know what the price of these things are. I remember back in the day when you had to troll the for sale section to look for David Lee's red clears that hadn't been made for years. Those things went for $300 back then.
Congrats on the Bday, I honestly thought you were going to say your better half used her small hands to change your knock sensor. My wife did and it's been a blissfull marriage ever since

hahaha, that is awesome. I do agree that the bakery could of done a little better on the wheels. At least put those big wheels that we seen on those loony cars.
Also, tell us, tell us, what part of the car did you eat first? Not only is the VQ responsive but I heard it may be delicious too!
