Lower radiator support differences

I have a ’98 I30T which will need the lower radiator support replaced, as I plan on doing the work myself, I have been researching the various parts I will need. Now the support has one part number listed in the Nissan catalogs and a different part number in the Infiniti catalogs. This is something I have run into to before, with the parts being the same but the part numbers are different.

With this, can anyone tell me if there is a difference between the Nissan lower radiator support and the Infiniti support? The part numbers are as follows:

Nissan = 62530-40U00
Infiniti = 62530-4L800

The reason I ask is the Infiniti version is like 30 bucks more.

Can't say for sure, but since the I30 has entirely different front end sheet metal, headlamps and fascia, I wouldn't risk it for $30. Some of the attachment points could be way off or missing.

oldngivout,

Understand the differences and I certainly don't want to screw around with doing all of that work and then have the nothing line up after the fact....but for 30 bucks I thought it was worth posting to see if someone had any specifics.

Again, thanks for the reality check.
