Don't get me wrong, I think it's great work mang, just not where I'd put it.

Then again, I have an iPod controller screen there (harmon Kardon dp1us), so maybe that's why

Good job. Way to utilize an otherwise useless ashtray for something beneficial.

Gonna start a new thread for all the LED's you mentioned? Love to see pics. Offering any LED services??

I can post a thread about them.. lol. The pics dont do them justice. Erty67 and NRW both have seen them in person.. in person you can clearly see 18 LED dots in the courtesy lights, but in a picture, there just seems to be an assaulting amount of light coming from the lens! lmao. Keep yer eyes peeled for a thread..

Nice stealth install. I'm glad you didn't leave the cruise controls next to that seat. Looks great in the ash tray!

I'd also like to see a thread on all your led work. I need to crack open my manual cc because some led's have stopped working.

Could you show how you wired them up. Did you just replace each existing bulb with an led or install more to eliminated hot spots. I'm always looking for new ideas.

Is it normal to have to remove the passenger seat in order to get to the head unit?

lmao! not not usually, but I had my old nav module, 4 port video switcher, and video signal booster, under the passenger seat before! Now everything is either included in the headunit, or mounted under the radio in the front of the center console! Plus it made it easier for me to get into my work! lol

http://www.momousa.com/products/prod...g-wheel-2.html

It appears that Momo now makes a steering wheel with the horn included. If the link doesn't work just go to the Momo website.

Fellas, how comfortable is the grip on these steering wheels? Im getting pain in the palm of hands while holding on to my leather and wood one while on long drives. These Momo ones are looking better and better. The only thing I wonder is if eliminating the airbag will pass inspection or not.

Minus pulling the bulb, you can't get rid of it.

Of all the threads I've read on this, only 10% or so of people seem to have success with this approach. My hunch is it worked for a short time for them, then the air bag light came back on, but they never reported back.

I would say just pull the bulb and be done with it. Wiz, I see your steering wheel has a horn Icon in the middle. I never really looked into this before but I notice most of the Momo wheels have the same horn Icon in the same place. Is the middle of the wheel like a push button? Why cant you get the horn to work using this?

Check out the Momo link I posted above, Im thinking of adding that wheel to my interior.
