Help!! Anti-freeze odor and cloud of "smoke/fog"

When I cut on my defroster on the anti-freeze smell and a lite white fog enters the cabin of my MAX. On the passenger side at first then over to the drivers side. Then also a "film" like as if the windshield was frosted over happens almost immediately. Heater core???, but not sure. A friend of mine said that I would have a leak on the passengers side because its "clogged", but NO LEAK/WATER on floor board. So is this a heater core problem, and how much of a pain is it to fix. I have pretty good experience at removing the dash as I did it three times, so if thats the big obstacle then it should be a walk in the park...

Also I read on here a while back that there was an online FSM manual for download...does anyone have a link????

Thanks in Advance
Mike

And it wouldn't necessarily leak.
