armrests-did they very over the years?

oops.. should have put did they VARY...

My 99's center arm rest's covering is tearing-the "vinyl" I'm guessing material has had too much sun and cold, and elbows wearing it out.

Did this arm rest vary over the years in height or length? Some of these on ebay look different. I bought a used one off ebay, but it seems too long, and interferes with the closest cup holder in the console.

Thanks in advance...

Nissan used 'cheap' materials on armrest. I took mine to an upholstery shop, for $30 they recovered it in thicker/quality material.

Yes they differ
95-96 longer, rounder
97-99 shorter, squarer
