where to buy axel ? read b4 flaming

I've been to every autoparts store in my area and everyone is telling me my axel is custom order. Its a 1999 manual SE with abs non locking diff. There was an option for locking diff but as far as I'm aware our cars all came with an open diff from 95 to 99 ? So anyway where do you guys buy your axels from ?

I just get mine from wherever has them, really.

I just picked up one today, $65 (new, not reman) and it was on the shelf. A32/5MT/driver's side/non-ABS.

If you can only find non-ABS axles in your area, you can transfer over the ABS reluctor ring from your old axle.

passanger or driver side... if passanger then they are ALL the same.. minus the ring for the abs..

driver side is the problem usually.. besides what kind of store cant tell you what side it goes on.. tell them to look at the number and see...

Its advance autoparts. Napa can get me one within a day I may have to do that but if the one advance has is correct I can get it today. Its for the driver side. They diddnt give me a part number. I just thought there might have been some obvious difference betwwen the two. I wish it was passenger side I know they are all the same I was mad when the driver side went.
