How low can i go

How low can i go
on stock struts, on my 1997 SE?
well...monroe sensa-tracs on front, OE on rear.
i've been told don't drop any further than 1.5" but i haven't read it in the stickies.
i'm thinking 1.5 in the front (if that's the furthest i can go)
and 1.0 - 1.3 in the rear (my front sits higher lol)
also, what brands offer this little of a drop?

EDIT: I just saw this in GD...
#6334.140 - 95-99 (1.5in Front, 1.3in Rear) – Retail Price - $369.00 – Your Price - $244 Shipped
will these work on stock suspension? ~1.5 inches worth doing?
i saw some 1.75, 1.6, etc... are those going to blow my struts?

okay...
one [newbie] vote for stock struts,
eight votes for AM struts.
i think i'll check out that GD on struts now lol
i would ask which ones are best, but this thread would be super
ed lol
i just want the comfort of OE, but dropped for aesthetics. improved/tighter handling would be a plus

S techs will give you a good drop but I would not look into them unless you do not care about handling. Some people would rather have a aggressive stance then good handling. if you do go S tech route, up grade your struts because more then likely you will blow your stock struts.

idk man, im dropped on Intrax springs, with one coil cut in the front, on stock struts. Ive had this setup for over 2 years, still havent blown my struts. maybe im a lucky one...
but yes, the general consensus is that ur struts will blow shortly.
