More info is needed.

Unless it was swapped from an I30 or an 01 AE Max then no, it does not have a locking dif. You should be able to tell based on the hole for the axle. If drivers side is significantly larger than the passenger then you do. There is a ton of info on this. Might want to do a search so you can find out what differences to look for
