Tensioner Pulley Assembly

Hey guys, kinda without internet other than at the girlfriends house, and shes bugging me to get to bed so i havent really searched the .org. I did however read through my fsm thoroughly, and did not find the answer... I recently replaced my alternator and came up with a extra washer and i am unsure of where it belongs. i will say that the car is making a noise in certain situations when it runs. and i do not want to drive it on this. so if someone could please give me a diagram of the tensioner assemblys pulley and the parts contained inside and around the pully id appreciate it! thanks guys!
