Keyless Entry Remotes

Keyless Entry Remotes
Anybody try other options than the ones that the dealership sells. $110 for a remote seems extremely high, and there appears to be one floating around for between 35 and 60 at different places. I wasnt sure if there was one to stay away from, and others that seem to work well.

+1 ebay.
Word of advice though if you go through keylessride.com DO NOT get the $54 dollar remote, it looks cool but it really sucks. This is one of the few instances that the cheapest thing works the best, it does work equally as well as the stock one, including lowering your windows.

i've bought about 5-6 remotes, 4 of them being OEM nissan, the other were viper. All but one were brand spanking new, the other one was worn, but it was specified in the listing (hey, it was $20 including shipping). Paid anywhere from $20-$35 for a remote. I will continue to buy remotes on ebay. Just make sure they have high ratings, 1000+?

I appreciate all of the advice...It looks like in this case Ebay is OK. I was concerned that they might be selling junk on there. I will also pay attention to the seller rating..
Thanks for the input...Another great service of maxima.org

Also, $110 is high to pay for a new one. That's what the dealer near me wanted, and I went online and bought a new one online for $85. Clearly, I still overpaid because a lot of the used remotes still look and work like new and go for as little as $25.
