in the market for pedal covers...
i want to purchase a set of pedal covers for my 5-sp maxima. my feet are quite small and its difficult for me to heel-toe during spirited driving, so i need something that would bridge the gap between the brake and gas. can you recommend a nice anti-slip pedal for me?
thanks!

yeah i got nokya aluminum pedal covers.. they are universal, but they fit pretty well (except for the gas pedal, which only uses 3 out of 4 screws), and now the gap between my brake and gas is so small that sometimes I press on both at the same time, inadvertedly.. but then again, i have pretty big feet, so you should be ok...
do a search on google for them, i forget where i got them, they were like 25 bucks... and they look pretty nice and arent slippery.

got my pedals
thanks for the replies. people from another board suggested going to pepboys for some low priced pedals, and thats what i did. this is what i bought: "3A racing performance" non slip pedal pads. click on the attachment for a pic.
they affix to the pedals via simple screw-tightening clamps on each corner of the pedal cover. they work quite well. before the install the gap between the brake and gas pedal was 3.25in. now the gap is little over 2 inches. its just right for me. plus the price was right at just $21.63 .

Re: got my pedals
Hey, the 2001 SE Anniversary Edition came with aluminum pedal covers, the brake pedal having rubber grib bumps on it also. They are an exact fit for the most part for 4th Gen. Maximas so that means no screws to tighten or anything. Only the gas pedals needs some slight modifitaction, but still fits snugly in the end. They are available for both auto.manual. I think they retail about $60 for the auto pair.

may i make a suggestion with the 3A pedals, had some on my auto, they were too heavy and actually pressed the pedals a little, cross drilled the holes, took a drill and removed silver inside the holes, then they worked fine, no more probs

in my application the covers do not weigh down the pedals. they're not the lightest covers but not heavy enough to affect the operation of the pedals.
