The car looks to be in excellent condition. Wouldnt it have been cheaper to fix it than buy another car?

Dude, Not cool to jack someones thread. If you have a question look at the sticky "noobies-i-am-new-here-but-have-question-thread." I'm sure somebody will be all to happy to help you.

Dave, Sorry to here you are leaving. Keep in touch, Ford people can not be as cool as us Nissan guys.

What Is the reason your selling your Maxima for a Mustang ? lol.
I think the Maxima Is better than the Mustang in all forms, but If you get the Gt thats ok,but It's rear wheel drive and rear wheel drives can be PITA getting in and out in the corners,on the ramps and on the beltway or on any slippery surface.
It's your call and your car. I hope you will be driving the car and not paying for the repair bills. I think whatever was wrong with your car can be fixed but what and how much is probally what got you thnking about the Mustang. Hopfully you will crawl back to the Maxima. Goodluck in the Ford forums and those cocky 5.0 Mustang fans.

I can't knock on maxima's they are solid cars, but ive just had a terrible experience. My first one got demolished by some guy who ran a red light, the second one needed all sorts of parts like new airbag modules, new egr valve, new coil packs, new knock sensor. It got costly very fast. And maximas dont come stock with v8's and dual exhaust and few come with standard trannys!

Hopefully the 3rd car will be a charm, ill take a peek on the org here and there. Thanks for the support guys, and buy my car haha

Wait till it rains? My mustang handles the rain better than my max does. FWD plus rain = fail lol. Trying to put the power down with the wheels that steer in a heavy rain never goes too great.

But.. yeah the mustang is fail. They arent bad cars.. but they arent that great of cars either. The mustang interior makes me feel all icky and cheap

A 2000 Mustang?

There are quite a few members who could put the heat on a 2000 Mustang (V6 or GT) with their cars.

Hopefully you don't run into one of us at the traffic light

ORLY? I've never spun out in my maxima in the rain... Nor have I hydroplaned into other lanes... The Mustang is the WORST car to own in any weather situation. Get a set of tires for the maxima, and you'll learn.

FWD? Dude do the physics again, there's actually weight on the wheels to keep em on the ground...

For the Rain and Snow: AWD > FWD > RWD

So okay here's a few crappy pictures of the stang, it looks better in person... But it was time to switch after 2 dead maxima's You die hard Nissan fans must admit that the mustang has much more power potential. Although admittedly it's not the most ideal car for Colorado epically in rain and snow. I did drive it back in light snow last night and it did fine, i did put on some bran new yok's all seasons to give me a fighting chance this winter. But we all know that FWD is far superior to RWD in snow!

dirty after snow...but new tires...

A traffic light, by which I mean, the starting tree at a drag strip.

EDIT: More engine bay shots please It's a GT right? I see dual exhaust but the rear bumper must be off of a V6 or something because it doesn't have the cutouts for the dual exhaust.

I cant give you any more pictures for the moment...its dumping snow outside

No it's not a gt...But i like to call it a "sporty v6" i just needed a daily driver that had some potential. Its fairly comparable to the VQ30DE but my six banger is a 3.8L, still have 190 hp and about 220 lb or torque. I get the exact same gas millage if not a 1-2mpg improvement.
