Questions for S Tech Owners

Questions for S Tech Owners
Trying to troubleshoot so sorry for the detailed post but your help is very much appreciated.
Installation:
- New S Tech springs with KYB shocks
- New front dust boots with trimmed bumpstops
- Reused rear boots that were still good, but forgot to trim the bumpstops
Results:
- Stiffer ride, but manageable
- No bottoming out on roads/freeways
- No more 4x4
- Overall, happy w/S Techs
Questions:
1. How big is your wheel gap?
- My front measures 2 fingers and the rear is 3 fingers with 17" wheels and 225/50/17 tires.
2. Did you get an allignment?
- My rear toe is positive and differ greatly from left to right and out of spec. SAI and "Toe Out On Turns" is also positive. (Note: Car has never been in an accident)
3. Are these figures normal for S Techs?
- I've posted the full report below.
4. Would the uncut rear bumpstop cause the springs not to compress resulting in positive toe/figures?
5. Can the rear bumpstop be cut while on the car? Is it solid rubber or is there an internal metal sleeve?
- It looks like I can cut the middle bumpstop ring off on the car, which might give me 1" travel.
6. Does this indicate other suspension probs and should I worry about premature tire wear?
Thanks!

gapping between the wheels depending on what size tires your riding, also plz dont use kyb gr2's with s techs please, you will be through struts every 2-3 months. get either the iiluminas or agx

Your alignment print out should show the factory specs in relation to your car's. Which side is the camber +0.4 or is it combined? It's in the FAQ here: http://forums.maxima.org/4652659-post10.html
It is possible that the car is resting on the bumpstop if you didn't trim them, and yes you would need to disassemble the rear to trim them, but I would trim them regardless.
I had the 2 finger front, 3 finger rear when I had my S-Tech's, though it's better for you to do before and after measurements instead.

I got some of those springs too. Alignment on the front was 0.4 and the rear was a perfect 0.1. I got two finger front and three fingers on the rear. The car has never been involved in a crash that the axle/wheel/bearing got screwed up. Mine has a clean title and that's all. So far this everything I can tell you about my springs.

The discrepancies are actually in the rear toe and left vs. right overall figures. I'll edit my initial question and also post the alignment report.

I'm trying to find out why my rear toe is so positive (angled out like a duck's feet) and why left and right differs so much. Also, any relation to not cutting bumpstops since it's a low drop?
Was your alignment report similar and could you post the results?
Thanks everyone for your responses so far!

I can't feel any difference driving. Just trying to find out if this is normal w/S Techs, related to the uncut rear bumstop, or it's other probs.
Thanks!

I really dunno.....never heard of this. Before the drop, your tires were non-duck feet looking right? I dont think stechs/bumpstops could cause that, and there is no way the hub assembly could be slightly slaunt.

Stop looking at your wheels position compaired to your cars sheet metal.
Your car, both front and rear IS tracking perfectly fine.
Look how they reported the front
Front Toe:
- Left: 0.07
- Right: 0.08
- Total: 0.15
- Left: 0.07
- Right: 0.08
- Total: 0.15
i.e. Left: +0.07 - That would have been a toe out condition.
