Unless I've been looking at the right thing this whole time (per the repair manual) and not realized it, for the life of me I can't locate the EGR valve in my 97. The manual says that there's a plunger under the EGR valve that I can press/test, which is why I'm sure I'm looking in the wrong place.

 

Its under the TB...oval shaped i believe
