I wish I were the original owner. While my 99 is in good shape, I'd have treated her a bit better.

Why is it a problem that your wife and the original owner are both white?

LMAO you gotta read your posts more carefully because he was talking about both cars he has.NOT the people he bought them from..

They are both GXE and both cars are white in color !
So now he has two white Maxima in the driveway and prolly cannot
tell which one is his and hers.

Original owner of 1996 se with 336,000 miles . Car is still a very reliable dailey driver
and has only ever needed occasional minor d.i.y. repairs.

I just turned 83,000 miles on my 95SE that I've owned since day one.

For the last say 12 years I have averaged less than 5,000 miles a year. If I keep it up at that rate I will be at your mileage in about 50 years or so, lol!

Somehow I don't think I will make it!

Time for a few road trips I guess.

Resurrecting an older thread.

I bought my '99 SE 5spd between Christmas and New Years in 1998.

It currently has 43K on the clock.

I haven't done much of anything to it. Except for a FSTB, it's bone-stock.

Purchased my 99 SE in May of 1999. Now has 142,500 miles, normal stuff: alternator, radiator fans, brake pads, clutch work and four batteries.

Purchased mine in Apr 99. Body has less than 60k and engine has 72k. It was down 5 years before I got around to restoring it. Been driving it for just a few months.
