all you need to do is the following:
1) take the socket for the small push bulb and cut the wires off(leave about 4" or so at the end of the fixture) MAKE SURE to cap off the other end with electrical tape cause they are live!
2) now strip back each wire coming out of the socket about 1/2"
3) now, without cutting the wires, strip back just the sheathing off the brake light wiring harness going to your brake light bulb. I belive there is like 3 or 4 wires running into it.
4) Turn on your flashers(hazard lights) now take the small socket and wires and touch them to a pair of wires that you just stripped back.
Hope fully you will find the right combo that will make the little light flash
**now im not responsible if you blow a fuse or a light bulb. im saying all of this off the top of my head, without actually looking an any harness to say exactly what wire does what.

the reason for this re-wire is so that you can actually see the turnsignal flashing. For some dumb a$$ reason APC or whoever designed the Altezza for the max made the brake/blinker intergarted into one lense, making it impossible to see you signal.
So if anything make them just blink, cause people will see the 4 big-a$$ red dots light up fine when you hit the brakes, lol
its the signals that suk in the rear...
