So its on the timing chain side. Do I clean the engine then look for leaks ? Any better ideas?

Get a big sheet of cardboard, park car on it, let it leak. Pin point leak.

Or maybe get some degreaser and degrease it, and let it sit for a day and find the new oil spots? Idk

^ Go get some GUNK degreaser from your auto parts store, spray it on and try to pressure wash the engine.
You just need the cover up the battery and the intake. I think thats all you have to cover, anyone can fill in if there is more.

Then check for the leak.

One thing I'm thinking if you have a oil leak, is it even safe to pressure wash it? Could water get in through the leak? Can anyone fill in for me?

I had a 3 leaks... degreased it, pressure washed it. Cover up the intake and battery, anything "fragile" and only use a very low pressure
