Trunk lid...strip and repaint...

So, i bought a 4th gen about a week ago and low and behold it needs body work... nothing major just stupid little things such as new fenders due to rot, trunklid due to some moron remounting a spoiler in non oem locations and leaving the oem mounting holes, the hood i think just needs a good buffing and typical rust here and there and its got cracked bumpers however i planned on a 97 conversion anyhow so thats no issue,BUT i got this pearl green trunklid with lights and spoiler for 40 bucks so im in the process of stripping it and repainting it qn0, i got some pics, anyone got any tips to make it easier aside from aircraft remover? i know a da would be quicker but i dont have access to one at the moment and im just doing it my way, as far as the tails and inside part of the trunk goes how would one go about sanding it?? anyhow here are some pics..

Any feedback would be helpful thanks..also anyone got any ideas on how to remount a spoiler that has broken mounting locations?? where the screws are broke off i guess due to age??
