clutch issue

I recently just changed the clutch in my 97 maxima and it engages fine. But if i go past like 3k rpms it starts slipping. It doesnt slip bad but i can definatly feel it. Did i do something wrong? what could be causing this?

is the clutch aligned properly? did everything get bolted down as it should have been? what brand clutch is it and how hard do you drive? i know no matter how hard you drive a new clutch it shouldnt slip btu you need to take quality into consideration...

Yes i aligned it properly and i torqued it down to specs. Not sure i got it from napa as an oem replacement. i dont drive hard but when i was testing it out as full throttle it began to slip like at about 3k rpm

If said "Dude" did it by hand, then its not "proper" and you have a sh!tty flywheel surface.
