I tapped into the door courtesy light on the passenger side. When the light turns on, the lights will trigger a relay I installed, which will in turn turn on the lights.

My reason for doing so was actually because the circuit on my driver side burned out, and I wanted to leave the light controls on my room lamp free to do it's own thing. If I could rewire it differently, I would, but for now, this is my best solution.

Ahhhhh, finally a worthy thread!!

I like the idea of adding LEDs on the side of the car for that extra functionality.

Im also feelin the LEDs on the headlights. The idea to have the LED door lights is cool. Im thinkin about eliminating the stock door lights and replacing with LEDs, prolly white.

OP, good work. keep da pics comin.

Chrisman, yur shyt dope too brotha!

It is easy, just make a testing on positive pole before installations. To make sure your car give enough voltage 12v dc into the led strips. tks.
