Does it have an known issues? Maybe have a mechanic give it a good once over, if not than change the oil, make sure the tires, coolant, and other fluids as well as the spare are good, and hit the road.

I'd also advise bringing extra of those fluids with you. You never know when you'll be on the side of the highway somewhere needing coolant to make it home.

It's a long trip, and an old car but my last 4th gen maxima made it to 220k miles for dying, and it only died because I drove 30k miles on it with radiator problems and wrecked it =p

Everybody here is right. Bring extra fluids and change your oil before you go. Check tires and make sure you have a spare. I drove from SC to TX with my 178,000 max and she drove just fine. Good luck!
