96 i30 vs Maxima - Tan Leather same color?
I'm in the process of getting some i30 seats to replace my worn 96 SE tan leather (doing seats and door panels).
Is the leather the same color in these two variants, or is the i30 a lighter beige. I've only seen pics of the i30 seats and it's hard to tell.
I want to know if I'll need to dye/paint the plastic to match the new seats.
TIA

been thinking of getting some myself. i know this does not pertain to the leather but i picked up an i30 1-piece rear floor mat (or whatever its called) and it was a lighter shade tan compared to the carpet and my original tan floor mats. it's also totally awesome.
the color difference will be minimal, especially if you dont have tints and your seats are bleached from the sun like mine are.
either way, those upgraded leather seats are gonna look and feel real nice. if the condition is worth the price then id pull the trigger.

I'll take some pics in the daylight tomorrow.
Interesting fact... I found out that my SE came from the factory with fabric seats and that the leather was a dealer installed item - as in they were installed over the fabric. I wondered why the inserts on the door panels had become ill-fitting and the leather was darker than the vinyl (really obvious on the door panels).
I need to redo my rear deck since at some point, my kids/wife thought it would be a good idea to leave some crayons up there in the summer sun.

I've never noticed a difference in the i30 and Maxima tan leather seats... I know the black leather is definitely the same since I have a mix and match of Maxima/i30 seats in my 95. I'm nearly 100% positive it should be the same unless of course as mentioned above... sun fade or harsh chemicals used to clean the leather causing it to change color.
