Hello all and happy holidays--Today i opened my trunk (i needed to run some stereo wires) i had to remove the felt covering in the truck on the left side drivers side--While running the wires--I felt like a HEAT SINK device that was hot (The car was running while i was running new speaker wires) I was wondering if any one knows what that device is--Its on the drivers side tucked down behind the wheel well-in the truck--There was also a wire going to it... Any clues? Thanks so much... Mark

I never felt that I did the same on my 99 Maybe it differs on the 97 from the 99
