Reset ECU

Does removing the battery cables reset the ECU too?

supposedly after a certain time..

but its easier to turn a screw 4 times than pull the battery cable off

I wonder why there arent more posts about how to prevent tripping MIL codes? It has been my experience that when you disconnect the battery prior to working on parts specific to tripping the ECU and then reconnect the battery when you are done, everything is peachy.

Where is the reset screw for a 99 SE-L Auto? the only screw on the ECU is for the engine idle speed...???

Mine says the same thing but that's what you are going to use to do the self-diagnostic.

It appears that the 4th gen 99 Maximas have different text than the other 4th gens.
