I have the 4th Gen IACV but I left the 5th Gen IACV bolted on to the throttle body but with no harness plugged in to power it. Do you think this is contributing to my high idle. I have been idiling around 1100 RPM.

That's something I was curious about doing this mod since the IACV systems are nothing alike......

Well I found out my issue... The IAcv was leaking vacuum so I fixed that with gasket sealer. Also the big fat hose was bent awkwardly and it was creased, so I repositioned the IACV so the hose can breathe easier and that brought my idle down to 750, well between 750-800 but it stays at 750 mostly.

The 4th gen IACV harness work with the 5th gen IACV, the catch is you have to bend the pins on the plug outward a bit. I've been running mine like that for a year now without any issues.
