New clutch installed...pedal too light?

I just finished installing a new exedy clutch and bleeding the clutch system...is the pedal supposed to be almost effortless? It feels like I went from a stiff pedal to zero resistance. The slave cylinder looks to be fully functional and I haven't seen any leaks, yet. I drove the car around the block and it seems to be working fine, a tiny bit of shudder at takeoff...but otherwise quiet and functional.

I just wanted a frame of reference from you guys that have put in new clutches. Also, this is just a stock replacement clutch kit, not a racing or hd model.

Thanks

Brian

OK...so I think I need to bleed the system more. Does air in the clutch system make the pedal light?

air in the system does make the pedal light...but i also noticed that when i put an exedy clutch in my car the pedal got lighter all the way down to the engagement point. i stall out the first time or so everytime i put a new clutch in cuz it surprises me haha.

After I installed my new clutch it was very light. After a week or so, it became normal again.
