Production Nearly There!
Keep the orders coming in, it's not too late to order and get on Cattman's official list. He will continue to take orders throughout the fabrication/ production process.

If you buy Cattman's headers, it comes with it's own equal length unique y-pipe that only works in conjunction with his headers.
Or
You keep the OEM headers, and purchase Cattman's y-pipe (different y-pipe than the one I mentioned above, and unequal length) or any other ypipe...Warpspeed for example.

Ok so i read all this but still want to be cleared up.. im buyin a 99 Se-l wed with a cattman ypipe on it but its a fed pipe and car is cali emissions.... is he making a run for the cali emissioned cars as well or no??

Talked to Brian for a while today and learned more about my car in a 5 minute phone call than I have over the last 2.5 years of owning it. (I'm lazy)
I'm totally in for this! I'll give him a call and get an order in during business hours tomorrow.

We've got 9 solid orders, which is enough to call this a done deal. My exhaust partner is backed up a couple weeks, and I don't want to take the deposits any sooner than necessary. We'll send out an email as soon as this batch begins to notify that we're collecting deposits.

Keep this thread on topic. Don't post other companies prices and CRAP in this thread. Keep it strictly Cattman. If you don't like their products, your problem. Make your own thread.

+1
The Y pipe alone (if everything else is stock) will net you 12-15HP if thats all you're changing in your exhaust setup...However you would certainly get even more gains if you upgrade the rest of your exhaust along with this Y pipe, I.E. the Cattman 3" Cattback, and get you upwards of 18Hp or more depending what else you have going on. It'd be the perfect time to get this Y and get in on Cattman's next production of the 3" exhaust which will be going into production along with this run of Y pipes so get it all ordered now and you'll certainly save $$ on shipping and simplify time/cost of install by doing all at once.

Btw, my name is already on the original list for the y-pipe.

Cattman just finished a batch of 5th Gen 3" Cattbacks earlier this week and as of 8.7.2011, he had 3 sets still available for immediate shipment. Are you 4th or 5th Gen?
This batch of Cattbacks went into production along with his 02/03 Y pipes several weeks ago so hopefully he has a set left for you (as long as you're 5th gen) otherwise check with Brian and see if he has/or is taking any backorders for a 4th gen 3" Cattback and whether he thinks a batch of those is possible.

Nice work everyone! I started this thread just over 3 months ago, and now we finally have enough people together to move forward into production! Big thanks to the Org and everyone that got involved here. This never would have happened without it.

1.) Raise your hood. Look for a metal identification tag fastened to the passenger side of firewall. The top row is the Vehicle Identification Number, starting with J. The second row is model information. The first five characters are BLHUL. The 12th character is the destination:
N = Canada
V = California (Cali)
U = US, not California (FED)
2.) Look underneath your car from the driver's side and look for the main (rear) cat...You're FED spec if you see an oxygen sensor on the B-pipe a few inches back from the rear flange of the cat. If you don't see an O2 sensor there you are Cali.
3.) Take a look at your front exhaust manifold...If it's mostly covered up by aluminum heat shields, and there is a 'big' pre-cat bolted (5 studs) to the manifold then you are Cali spec. Take a look at this pic of a FED manifold vs. Cali manifold with the pre-cat
Hopefully, you'll determine that you're FED spec, then call Cattman ASAP!

No, you're not too late, BUT you need to confirm and make sure that you are FED spec. There's several ways to determine whether you're FED or Cali spec...

What year is your max? The cali spec will only matter if you have a '99
